 The Process: All communications will be conducted via email. Your first contact should describe what you want. If the graphix are for a website, blog or forum, include the URL so I can get an idea of what you need.
In our communications, we will work out the details for the graphix. If you have a vision, describe it as fully as you can. I may ask questions to clarify or make suggestions. If you don't really know what you want, I'll try to help you figure it out. If your site is already set up with a preferred color scheme, I can use that as a base. You may send links to other sites with a style (elegant, cute, industrial, etc.) that appeals to you. I won't copy the design, but I can create the style. * NOTE: The initial design consultation is free of charge. If you decide you want me to proceed, a deposit (see below) is required to start the work. If the design will include several matching elements, get everything you need at once. Since each design is unique, it's difficult to reproduce the imaging process at a later time. If photo manipulation is to be part of the design, the photo(s) must be clear and sharp. I can't work with poorly exposed shots. Resize the photo to a reasonable size before sending to me. 800 pixels (wide) is a good general size to work with. I can also pick up photos from your website, Photobucket or other photo storage site. Let me know which photos you prefer, or I can choose the ones I feel are best for the project. When the piece(s) is completed, I will send a draft to your email for approval. This is the time to let me know what needs changing. I will do my very best to create your vision, and your satisfaction is my goal. * NOTE: The draft will have a protective watermark. When the design has been approved and paid in full, the completed graphix will be released without the watermark. Watermarked sets will be displayed on a private webpage so you can see how it all looks together. Guarantee: This is restricted to the design process. I will work on it until you are satisfied. Once the design has been approved and paid in full, later changes or do-overs will not be honored. I will keep a copy of the piece(s) in storage in case the owner loses it. It may also be displayed in the Showcase where the owner can pick it up at any time.
Time: I will try to get the project finished as soon as possible. Usually within a few days depending on previous orders. More complex designs may take longer. I need prompt responses from you in order to finish it in reasonable time.
Payment & Pricing: Payment shall be via Paypal. Pricing is as follows, and includes the Paypal service fees. A non-refundable deposit (in paratheses) is required to begin the design. The balance is to be paid upon final approval. When final payment appears in the account, the finished graphix will be released to the owner.
* NOTE: You may, if desired, make full payment (50% non-refundable) in advance to avoid a second service fee. In this case, there will be no watermarks on the graphix at any stage of the design process. Banner, Logo, Signature: $20.91 ($10.00) Avatar: $10.61 ($5.00) Matched Signature & Avatar Set: $25.06 ($10.00) Forum Set: $31.20 ($10.00) A Forum Set consists of a banner and marker images. Markers are the small graphix that signify new / old posts (2 different images), birthdays, important dates, stats, etc. Specify the markers desired. Ensemble: $51.80 ($20.00) Sets consist of the following. 1 Banner 1 Background (additional coordinated backgrounds $5.46 each) Buttons - unlimited number, specify all buttons desired (additional rollover buttons - $2.37 each) 1 Divider (if desired) 1 Link-back (if desired - small logo for link exchanges) 1 Decorative Element (if desired) Matching DMG Logo (if desired) Color Codes (suggested to complement the set) * NOTE: Ensembles are often designed for the background and may not display well on other backgrounds. Specify if you'd like the option to change the background later, and the elements will be designed for universal use. Picture Frame: $10.61 ($5.00) for each individual frame design. Extra $2.37 each for the same frame on multiple photos. This only applies to individual photos. There is no extra charge for framing a banner, logo or signature. Animation: Any of the above individual graphix can be animated for an additional $15.76. Extra unrelated animated pieces start at $26.06, and price will depend on size and complexity. Animations will be in GIF format (.gif) which may degrade the quality of photos. Business Card Logo: $15.76 ($8.00). This is limited to the graphic, and it will be sized in a format for this use. It's up to the client to build the business card itself and print it. Website Setup: $77.55 (full payment in advance). This is a limited service offered for Weebly which is a free host. Design of the site may be limited to what Weebly offers. This includes support to help you learn to update it yourself. It DOES NOT include future updates or maintenance. I will need your user name and password to access your account. Credit: I feel my pricing to be fair and reasonable for the time and quality of work you'll receive. In return, I ask to be given credit on your site. You can use a simple text link, or the DMG logo at the bottom of this and every page. If desired, I can create a matching DMG logo at no extra charge. If you display the DMG credit, your link will be added to the Portfolio which may generate more traffic for your site as well. I'm willing to design anything within reason, but I do reserve the right to decline a project. In order to spare sensitive visitors, graphix and sites geared toward mature audiences will not be included in the Showcase or Portfolio.
